Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore, is an amazing Hollywood actor and writer whose talents have earned an acclaim from critics as well as recognition. She made her screen debut in 1985, with a scene from The Edge of Night. She played the dual role of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in As the World Changes, which was her breakthrough. It ran through 1988 and won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she began her film debut with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie that was later criticized as a terrible low-budget film. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) included among her movies. The films were critically acclaimed and Moore won multiple nominations. Moore was the first actress to get a major role in Safe which was a film from 1995. The casting of Steven Spielberg's Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which is among the most successful films of 1997, marked a major turning point for Moore's career. The film she starred in was Magnolia (1999) and was critically acclaimed, which earned her a SAG nomination for her performance. The Hours was her co-starring role in 2002, and it won nine Academy Awards nominations with Nicole Kidman. Her other films are The Forgotten 2004 Freedomland 2006.
